November 11th, 2017 - StorEn Secures Long-Term Vanadium Supply - Binding Agreement to Vertically Integrate
StorEn and Australia-based Vanadium mine developer Multicom Resources Pty Ltd (Multicom) have entered into a binding agreement to establish a vertically integrated supply chain model for the low-cost manufacturing, sale and distribution of StorEn proprietary Vanadium Flow Batteries . StorEn proprietary technology considerably reduces the manufacturing cost of Vanadium Flow Batteries . The final hurdle to their widespread adoption remains the ability for manufacturers to secure a stable long-term supply of vanadium pentoxide to underpin mass production.
January 23rd, 2018 - StorEn to Commence Prototype Third-party Validation at the Environment Park
StorEn is pleased to announce that, in the view of the development of the EMEA markets, a cooperation program with the Environment Park in Turin, Italy’s leading cleantech scientific and technology accelerator has started.
The program entails the independent, third-party validation of a StorEn’s vanadium flow battery prototype embedding StorEn’s patent-pending innovation to be completed at the Environment Park. The parties will also engage in further development and testing of innovative components.
In the course of 2018, additional independent third-party validation programs will be completed: in the United States at the Advanced Energy Research and Technology Center (AERTC) located within the Research & Development Park at Stony Brook University, New York; and in Australia and Asia with partner Multicom Resources PTY Limited.
